Stride for Palestinians

My Story

Thanks to the wide support of friends, family and my terrific colleagues at Madding Crowd Bookshop, I was able to raise £800 in aid of MAP during Stride for Gaza earlier this year.

Only very recently were MAP's team in Gaza able to deliver food packages to those who have been driven from their homes in the North. The IOF remain unrelenting in their efforts to brutally obstruct aid and emergency teams trying to reach the Palestinian people. There is so much work left to do, including the monumental undertaking of reopening Nasser Hospital and rebuilding its capacity.

The number of those who have been injured or killed as a result of these last six months is already inconceivable. If a military invasion of Rafah were to soon take place, it would be absolutely catastrophic. We must do everything we can to ensure those fighting to survive on the ground right now have a tomorrow.

To commemorate Nakba Day, and to continue to aid MAP's tireless work, I will soon be covering a distance of over 150 km. If any of you are able to support me again--whether through donating or sharing my fundraiser with others--thank you so much.
