Stride for Palestinians 2025

My Story
Hi everyone,
I will be Striding for Palestinians in aid of the amazing charity Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).
Starting on Nakba Day (15 May), I will be completing 107km (around 66.5 miles) in one month and virtually covering the distance from Occupied East Jerusalem to Gaza.
As some of you may know, I have a chronic lung condition which makes exercise particularly challenging for me. This year, I am in the process of trying to make myself healthier, and was looking for something to focus on to help with this. A couple of miles a day may seem easy for some of you, but rest assured, this will definitely take some effort!
Others may know that my amazing Dad passed away suddenly in 2021. He held the children of Palestine close to his heart after an emotional visit on his way to Hajj some years ago. This is then also a way of honouring his memory.
Whilst this will not be the easiest thing for me, it's nothing compared to the difficulties the Palestinians face on a day to day basis. I am fortunate that I don't have to worry about my daughter the way other families must worry for their children over there, and in other areas of conflict around the world.
Please donate to help me support MAP as they remain for the Palestinian people - no matter what. You can also track my progress via the map on this page.
Whatever you can contribute will be gratefully received and positively used to help provide medicine and care in Palestine.
Thank you!
