Medical Aid For Palestinians

Stride for Palestinians 2025

My Story

This May, I’m taking on The Great Outdoors Challenge—a 14-day trek across the Scottish Highlands, backpacking from Lochailort to Dunnottar Castle. But this isn’t just an adventure; it’s a mission to raise vital funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

Why Am I Doing This?

For years, I’ve used this annual challenge to support causes close to my heart. This time, I’ve chosen MAP because their work is more critical than ever. Right now, Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank face unimaginable hardship—hospitals destroyed, medical supplies blocked, and families left without access to basic healthcare. MAP provides emergency medical relief, long-term healthcare support, and advocacy for those who need it most.

The Challenge: 107km (And Much More!)

As part of MAP’s virtual challenge, I’ve pledged to walk, jog, or push 107km—symbolizing the length of Palestine. But in true Challenger spirit, I’m going far beyond that, covering roughly 300km over two weeks, carrying everything on my back through rugged Highland terrain. Rain, wind, or midges won’t stop me—because the people MAP helps face far greater hardships every single day.

Why Your Support Matters

  • £25 could provide emergency medical supplies for a family.
  • £50 could help deliver essential maternal healthcare.
  • £100 could support trauma care for those injured in conflict.

Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference. MAP’s teams are on the ground right now, working in impossible conditions to save lives. By sponsoring me, you’re helping them continue this vital work.

How You Can Help

Please sponsor my trek and share this cause with others. Together, we can ensure Palestinians get the medical care they desperately need.

Thank you for your support—let’s walk together for justice, dignity, and hope.
